Learning Communities
Students attend Learning Communities weekly. Communities allow students time to progress through coursework in a cohesive learning environment, taught by certified staff.
Learning Communities provide time for group instruction in content areas and is also a time for students to exercise their creativity in the arts, to be able to socialize, and to have opportunities to attend field trips. Kindergarteners attend a half day weekly. Students in Grades 1-8 attend one day per week. We have Grades K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8 Communities. Class size is limited to 20 students. Parents are always welcome to volunteer or visit as often as they wish.
